Xiaoyue (Sawyer) Feng is a New York–based 3D artist and visual storyteller working across CGI, motion, XR, and AI-assisted workflows.
Her practice sits at the intersection of digital imagery, youth culture, and entertainment, with a focus on building visual worlds that feel emotionally charged, concept-driven, and culturally specific. She is particularly interested in how digital bodies, virtual identities, and performative visuals shape contemporary music, fashion, and fandom culture.
With a background in both fine art and technology, Sawyer approaches commercial projects with an artist’s sensitivity and a production-ready mindset. Her work often translates abstract concepts into clear visual systems, ranging from short-form motion and CGI visuals to interactive installations and digital experiences.
She has worked across 3D digital art, AIGC, XR, sound and performance-based projects, and is especially drawn to collaborations in music, entertainment, and culture-driven brands where storytelling and visual impact are equally important.
Sawyer holds a BA in Art and Technology from the China Academy of Art and is currently pursuing an MFA in Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
